TALK PRETENDING
Our recent performance ‘Talk Pretending’ acts as a nucleus or starting point for the work we are currently developing. It comprises of a collection of anecdotes and personal experiences which relate to the voice, individually written and collaboratively staged.
The protagonists of these narratives range from Whitney Houston, Echo, Greek Mythology, TV extras, soap operas, Gertrude Stein, Julie Andrews, Kathy Acker and Princess Diana, alongside semi-fictional autobiographical vignettes.
